Originally from Yorkshire but trained in Newcastle, Dr Jackson works part-time. She is a GP Trainer and has a special interest in gynaecology and family planning.

(Cambridge and Edinburgh 1991 and 1995) MRCGP MRCP DRCOG DFFP LOCIUT
Originally from Glasgow and trained in Cambridge and Edinburgh, Dr Dimigen works full-time. She is a GP Trainer and has special interest in gynaecology and family planning.
Dr Robert MacLeod
MBBS (Newcastle 2009) MRCGP
Originally from Glasgow and trained in Newcastle, Dr MacLeod works full-time. He has a keen interest in medical student training and musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
Dr Ian Almond

Originally from North Wales but trained in Newcastle. Dr Almond has a keen interest in medical student training ,diabetes/thyroid medicine and palliative care.
Dr Mark Clements

Originally from Yorkshire and trained in Newcastle, Dr Clements works full time. He has a special interest in cardiology and is the care home lead for the practice
Other Doctors
Some doctors will be with us on a temporary basis. GP Registrars (previously known as trainees) are fully qualified doctors who come to us to complete their specialist General Practice training. They stay with us for 6 months.
We occasionally have a Career Start doctor working with us. These fully qualified doctors have already completed their specialist GP training and they take placements within certain practices in order to further their skills before seeking a permanent position.
Our Nursing Team
Our Practice Nurses run the health management clinics i.e. Asthma, Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes and Epilepsy and will do smears, blood pressure checks and travel vaccinations. Additionally they run a Travel Vaccination and Advice Clinic.

District Nurses are based at Bunny Hill Primary Care Centre. They carry out home assessments and provide nursing care both in the community and in our treatment room at the surgery. Direct Line contact – 0191 5027350
Midwives – The Midwifery team provides care and advice during pregnancy, in the Antenatal Clinic and after childbirth at home. Once you are pregnant, please make a booking for the antenatal clinic when you are 8-10 weeks pregnant. Health Visitors – Melanie Cook. Melanie is mainly involved with promoting and advising on health and development issues for the under fives at the Child Health Clinic. Direct Line Contact – 0300 0051552
Community Mental Health Care Team – The team specialises in community mental health care and offers a wide range of interventions or treatments such as counselling, anxiety management and mental health promotion, as well as the management of depression.

Mrs Andrea Fraser, the Practice Manager, oversees administration and co-ordinates the smooth running of the surgery.
Our aim is to provide expert and friendly healthcare for all of our patients so we are open to ideas and suggestions. Mrs Fraser will deal with all suggestions or complaints.
